How is engagement rate calculated?
Use the Average likes and Followers values from the same creator analysis. For example, 900 average likes and 50,000 followers produce an ER of 1.8%: 900 ÷ 50,000 × 100.
The percentage does not mean that 1.8% of the creator’s followers were uniquely identified as engaging. Likes may come from people who do not follow the account, and the formula compares aggregated values rather than unique engaged users.
