The REAL leg workout is just me running to the bathroom 24/7 & dying of heartburn but here’s a juicy leg day 35 weeks preggo🍑 As we enter into the last month before my due date (which wtf?!?!) my workouts are going to start to decreasing in volume as fatigue increases but I am still focusing on priotizing these top things in my training: ✨ internal rotation ✨myofascial sling/pelvic stability exercises ✨glutes/posterior chain ✨back/upper body strength ✨adductor + core strength ✨hip & thoracic mobility And now more than ever pelvic floor relaxation and birth prep as I prep for labor and supporting my body as it continues to grow and shift! Full workout: 3 x 8 box squats 3 x 6 alternating step ups 3 x 6 b stance RDL with internal rotation 3 x 10 glute bridge + lateral resistance 2 x 8 reverse clamshells

Can not believe we are at 37 weeks😱 this poonani will be poppin soon so here’s a relaxing birth prep workout you can do at home🏡 Birth prep workouts are amazing to help you open up all levels of your pelvis, connect to your breath and pelvic floor, and be able to access different positions during labor. But know that you can do ALLL the things and birth/labor can go many different ways-all that matters is a healthy happy baby and YOU! And know that movement is so beneficial in pregnancy beyond labor itself-for your mental, prenatal comfort, placental function, and for your babies growth + development! For a full workout: Warmup: side lying diaphragmatic breathing, 90/90 switches, 90/90 lift and reach, quadruped rockback 2 x forward leaning inversion 3-4 breaths 3 x 30 seconds cat cow with block each side 3 x 10 breaths hug the baby + deep squat 3 x 10 each side adductor rockback + thoracic rotation 3 x 30 seconds pelvic tilt + circles 3 x 8 side to side squats on ball 3 x 8 internal rotation rock backs Cooldown: Psoas stretch + puppy pose ❤️

SHE’S BACKK👀🤰🏼almost 8 weeks postpartum and we are cleared and (very slowly) getting back into movement!! For me personally postpartum has been the *real* spooky season lmao so my biggest priority has been rest, recovery, and soaking in as many cuddles and contact naps with my baby as possible. I have been either on the bed/couch or around it since my baby has been born and it has been so beneficial for my physical healing-you can’t see it but don’t forget you have a dinner plate sized wound inside your uterus & tissue that takes a long time to heal after birth!! Not to mention the extreme sleep deprivation, hormone fluctuations, and trying to take care of a newborn lmao-so give yourself grace, love, and all the time you need to return to movement when YOU are ready. Not just when you are “cleared.” Technically I am cleared for movement I was doing prior to pregnancy-but I am in NO way physically or mentally ready..and it is so important for me to not rush my healing for my future self (and my pelvic floor/core!). So my focus at home has just been on breath work/postpartum safe movements to help me reconnect to my floor and pelvic floor and functional movement patterns. Right now I will be training 1-2 times a week and building up to more intensive movement patterns/weight slowly! I remember going into the bathroom after birth thinking-if I can do that sh*t..I can do anything☠️. This is the mindset I’m going to have going into this new season of life-I feel much weaker in my body now than I ever have..but I know I can and will feel stronger than I ever have before.❤️ sending you all so much love and excited to share this new season with you!

Labor & delivery nurses BETTA be asking me if I’m pregnant in my ass as well with these leg days we are doin🫡😂 Here are some of my current movements at week 32🤰🏼 we are still thrustin but have now modified to using a dumbbell-if you place it at the top of your thighs it creates more room and space for your bump! Lateral lunges are not only incredible for the glutes but the adductors (which we want to be strong during pregnancy as they connect to our pelvic floor!!), quads, hammies, and hip mobility! You can modify these by holding onto a support taking a wide stance position. Lateral step ups are a lateral sling movement so again amazing for glutes (duh) but which we also are helping support pubic symphysis and SI joint and really challenging our core which is important for pregnancy in managing conditions such as pelvic girdle pain. We follow these up with a single leg RDL with pulldowns-one of my FAVORITES for setting my cheeks and my core on fire, while also supporting and strengthening our lower back. Ending it with my absolute favorite-elevated clamshells for the glutes/glute medius/abductors. Your bottom knee is going to be your pivot point as you press up through your knee squeezing your glute and opening your lil clam! Slowly bring back down keeping tension in your glutes. These can be done on the floor with a band as well!

August 1st at 6:30 AM is when we welcomed our baby boy into this world🥹🩵 I waited my whole life to meet you Everett and it was more beautiful than I ever could’ve imagined-I truly never knew love this deep existed, and I have never had to dig so deep within myself. This pregnancy has been the most transformative journey of my life-and your birth changed me in ways I will be forever grateful for. Your dad and I couldn’t be more blessed and over the moon to be your parents🥹
